The Artspace Ticket Centre

The Artspace Ticket Centre is an initiative of Artspace to provide event ticket reselling services for Winnipeg’s not for profit Arts and Cultural community on an “at cost basis”.

The Ticket Centre is located in the Cinematheque kiosk in the Artspace lobby at 100 Arthur Street. It’s open from noon to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. Tickets can be purchased in person by cash, debit, Visa or MasterCard or over the phone by Visa or MasterCard. 

Tickets are sold without the addition of service fees to the purchaser. All service fees are included in the price of the ticket and are born by the event producers (the client). Client service fees pay for staff and operating costs. The Ticket Centre will only sell tickets for general admission events (rush seating).

Fees are as follows:

  • $1.00 for each ticket (or season/festival pass) priced $0 - $12
  • $2.00 for each ticket (or season/festival pass) priced $13 - $30
  • $3.00 for each ticket (or season/festival pass) priced $31 and up
  • e.g. Two $20 tickets are sold at the Ticket Centre - $36 is returned to the client.
  • An additional per order fee of $1.00 will be charged to the client for mailing tickets to a purchaser. 

If the client is required to collect and remit GST, the GST must be included in the price of the ticket. The client is responsible for the remittance of the GST associated with their tickets.

The client is responsible for providing the physical ticket for sale. A recommendation for a low cost, independent ticket printer can be provided.

Event advertising will be provided on the Artspace website and in the Artspace lobby adjacent to the Ticket Centre.

A cheque will be issued to the client for total sales less service fees within one week of their event going off sale.
